Ms. Jamie Boatman
Jamie has over 14 years experience as a registered dental hygienist, and has been with Dr. Jayashree Srinivasan since 2014. She obtained both her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene and her Certificate in Dental Assisting from Broward Community College.
She always knew she wanted to take a path to dentistry. As a child, she had a fascination with teeth. Her granny had partial dentures and instilled in her, at a young age, how important it was to have a healthy mouth. Following high school she went directly into the local dental assisting program.
Jamie is motivated by her patients and finds the ability to educate them on their dental health and help them become healthier overall to be very satisfying. She is especially interested in the area of periodontal therapy.
She has two dogs and one cat. She loves calling the Huntsville area home because she enjoys the ability to travel throughout the Tennessee Valley, trying the many different dining experiences, places to shop and outdoor activities. In her spare time, Jamie enjoys kayaking, hiking, going to the beach, and shopping for shoes.
Ms. Lauren Moore
Lauren has been holding down the front desk of Dr. Jayashree Srinivasan’s practice for 6 years. Like the rest of the staff, she was born and raised in Huntsville, AL. She loves how close Huntsville is to major cities, as well as all her family and friends.
Feeling she had a calling for healthcare, she studied Epidemiology and sciences studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She went on to attend Calhoun Community College and earn her Associates Degree in Science with an emphasis in healthcare studies, and later her Certification of Dental Assisting. She loves helping nervous patients feel at ease, and feels that she can best help others gain beautiful smiles through dental assisting.
If you schedule with Lauren, she will likely chat with you about your interests, vacations, family, or anything else. Her motivation each day to come to work stems from her love of the patients and her desire to help them.
Lauren has adopted two rescue dogs, Lyla and Thanos, and spoils them as though they are her children. When she is not working or playing with her dogs, she is spending time with family, hiking, camping, reading, writing, learning new recipes, shopping, or studying the latest dental news. A fun fact about her is that she knows how to knit, and can knit pretty much anything – from mittens to grocery bags.
