What can I expect my first visit?
When you visit the office of Huntsville dentist Dr. Srinivasan for the first time, she and her staff want you to feel welcomed and at ease.
Our business team will welcome you and our hygienist will bring you back into the treatment room. She will take a full mouth series of x-rays, review your health history, and chart past dental treatment. Along with your cleaning, she will also screen for gum disease by completing a full mouth periodontal charting. This helps us identify healthy vs unhealthy gums.
Dr. Srinivasan will do a comprehensive examination. If you don’t need much treatment, she’ll explain what you need and answer any questions about it. If you have extensive needs, she will take the time to study your case later and will have you come back for a separate consultation. In discussing your treatment, she will be sure to tell you about any options you may have. Often there is more than one way to solve a dental problem, and she wants to be sure you are fully informed of that.
Expect the entire visit to take about an hour and a half.
